In 1941, he finished school and was accepted into a medical technical school in Zaporozhe; however in that same year, 1941, World War II began. In 1943, Petr was drafted into Germany to serve in the war. In 1945, the American soldiers freed the territory of Germany, where he was serving. It was there that he met and married Kseniya Ivanovna Gonchar, a native of Ukraine. In the end of 1945, Petr and Kseniya left Germany and returned to Ukraine. Together they settled in the city of Khmelnitsky. He then served in the military for four more years, 1947-1951. In 1958, together with his wife, they believed in God and were baptized. In 1959, God baptized him with the Holy Spirit with the sign of speaking in tongues. In 1968, he was appointed to position of deacon in the Church. In 1986, he was appointed to the position of Pastor. In 1991, he was appointed to Bishop. For many years, God used Petr in the ministry of prayer for the baptism of the Holy Ghost. By the guidance of the Lord Jesus Christ and with His help, Petr was able to lead the construction of the first church in Khmelnitsky, Ukraine. In 1996, he and his wife moved to the United States to join their children and grandchildren in Sioux Falls, SD.
